Tom Hoge A Bracket-Buster In Match Play
2 years agoIn his WGC Match Play debut last season, Tom Hoge recorded only 0.5 points after finishing last in a group won by Billy Horschel. However, this year could be different for Tom Hoge. Hoge comes into the event off two top-15 finishes in his last three starts, highlighted by a T3 at The Players Championship. His combination of good play of late, and the group he's in could be a perfect storm. He is grouped with Xander Schauffele, who has struggled in this event in his career, as well as Aaron Wise and Cam Davis, which neither are playing as well as Hoge of late. If doing a bracket, Hoge will likely be a popular upset pick in his group, and could be as a nice DFS play due to his projected second-round matchup.
