Tom Brady Hasn't Made Up Mind, Not Officially Retired
3 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady hasn't formally yet decided to retire from the NFL. Updating a previous news item, Adam Schefter of ESPN reported earlier on Saturday that Brady was retiring from football after 22 extraordinary seasons. Brady's agent Don Yee released a statement stating the 44-year-old hasn't made up his mind yet. "I understand the advance speculation about Tom's future," Yee said in a statement given to multiple reporters. "Without getting into the accuracy or inaccuracy of what's being reported, Tom will be the only person to express his plans with complete accuracy. He knows the realities of the football business and planning calendar as well as anybody, so that should be soon." Brady reportedly is strongly considering retirement and is expected to make a decision soon. The seven-time Super Bowl champ is signed with Tampa Bay through 2022 and will decide between retirement or another year with the Buccaneers. Stay tuned.
