Tom Aspinall Gets First-Round TKO At UFC 295
1 year agoTom Aspinall is now the UFC's interim heavyweight champion as he scored a TKO win over Sergei Pavlovich in the co-main event of UFC 295. Aspinall and Pavlovich took this fight on about two weeks' notice. Right away, Pavlovich landed a big shot that appeared to hurt Aspinall but the Brit was able to recover quickly. After recovering, Aspinall landed a nice combo that hurt Pavlovich and dropped him. Following Aspinall getting the knockdown, he landed some ground-and-pound shots which forced the ref to step in just 69 seconds into the fight. With the win, Aspinall is now the UFC's interim heavyweight champion and is in line to face the winner of Jon Jones vs. Stipe Miocic, should they continue to fight.

Tom Aspinall Defends Interim Title At UFC 304
8 months agoTom Aspinall (14-3) is set to defend his interim heavyweight title in the co-main event of UFC 304 against Curtis Blaydes on Saturday in England. Aspinall is coming off a first-round knockout win over Sergei Pavlovich in November to win the interim title. This fight serves as a rematch as the two fought in 2021 but just seconds into the fight, Aspinall tore his knee. Heading into the bout, Aspinall is a sizeable favorite as DraftKings has him at a salary of $9,400. In the UFC, Aspinall is 7-1 with all seven wins by stoppage. Should Aspinall win, he's been guaranteed to fight the winner of Jon Jones vs. Stipe Miocic.

Tom Aspinall A Slight Favorite To Win Interim Heavyweight Title At UFC 295
1 year agoTom Aspinall (13-3) is set to fight Sergei Pavlovich for the interim heavyweight title in the co-main event of UFC 295 in Madison Square Garden on Saturday. Aspinall and Pavlovich agreed to this fight on two weeks' notice, so neither man got much of a training camp. The Brit is coming off a 73-second TKO win over Marcin Tybura back in July which was his first fight in a year after he tore his ACL in 15 seconds against Curtis Blaydes. Heading into UFC 295, Aspinall is a slight favorite as DraftKings has him at a salary of $8,200 while in his seven UFC fights, he's averaging 93.65 fantasy points per outing. Aspinall has finished all six of UFC wins with five of them coming in the first round.

Tom Aspinall Gets Homecoming TKO Win
2 years agoTom Aspinall returned to the Octagon and the win column in a big way at UFC London on Saturday. Aspinall suffered a major knee injury last July against Curtis Blaydes, and a year later was headlining UFC London against Marcin Tybura. Just over a minute into the fight, Aspinall dropped Tybura and finished him with strikes to get a first-round TKO in just 73 seconds. With the win, Aspinall improves to 13-3 as a professional and could be in a title-eliminator fight next time out.

Tom Aspinall Looking For Redemption
2 years agoTom Aspinall (12-3) is set to fight for the first time in a year since he suffered a major knee injury just seconds into his scrap against Curtis Blaydes last July. After a year-long rehab, Aspinall will headline UFC London on Saturday against Marcin Tybura. Prior to the injury, Aspinall was 5-0 in the promotion and was coming off a stoppage win over Alexander Volkov. Against Tybura, Aspinall is the betting favorite as DraftKings has him at a salary of $9,700, which is the highest on the card. In his UFC tenure, Aspinall is averaging 91.7 fantasy points per fight and has finished all five of his wins.
