1 year agoTodd Gilliland qualified in 35th place for Saturday night's Coke Zero Sugar 400 at Daytona International Speedway, and this should put the driver of the No. 38 Ford firmly in the minds of DFS players everywhere. Gilliland is a more-than-capable superspeedway racer and has back-to-back top-10 finishes at Talladega. He has also finished between 15th and 17th place in each of the last three races at Atlanta. Here at Daytona, though, Gilliland hasn't found as much success, as he has yet to finish better than 23rd at this track. However, he's shown potential at similar tracks, and that is all that matters. With his 35th-place starting spot this weekend, Gilliland has major upside in DraftKings contests, but history has shown that DFS players still don't fully trust him. At Talladega this year, Gilliland garnered just 17.43% ownership despite starting in 28th place. With the place-differential upside that Gilliland has on Saturday night, you should have plenty of exposure in DFS with this Front Row Motorsports driver. Not to mention, the No. 38 Ford was fifth-fastest in total speed ranking during this year's Daytona 500.--Jordan McAbee
