Todd Frazier's Late Home Run Not Enough
5 years agoThe New York Mets appeared headed for a morale-boosting victory Thursday afternoon in their series finale against the Philadelphia Phillies. Entering the game having lost four consecutive games, veteran third baseman Todd Frazier put his club ahead with a two-run home run in the ninth inning. The Mets would add another, but the bullpen would blow the lead yet again, sending the club to a fifth straight loss. Frazier, for his part, is wrapping up a relatively productive June, currently batting .269 with six home runs and 19 RBI.
