6 years agoThe New York Mets will activate infielder Todd Frazier off the IL Monday prior to their game against the Philadelphia Phillies. The 33-year-old has been sidelined since Spring Training with an oblique injury. Initially viewed as a starter heading into 2019, excellent play from Jeff McNeil and J.D. Davis have set him up to be a part-timer upon his return. This is the final year of Frazier's two-year contract with the Mets following a 2018 campaign that saw him hit .213 with 18 home runs and 59 RBI in 115 games.--RDelgado
