Todd Frazier Homers Again on Thursday
6 years agoNew York Mets third baseman Todd Frazier hit a home run for the second straight game on Thursday against the San Francisco Giants. Frazier took Madison Bumgarner deep for a solo shot in the seventh inning, but ultimately the Mets fell just short in a 3-1 loss. The home run was Frazier's 14th of the season in just 82 games. Entering Thursday's game, Frazier was on pace for a 26 HR/90 RBI campaign over the course of a 162-game season. Despite a .233 batting average, those numbers are close to his career averages. Frazier could be useful down the stretch in category leagues due to his power numbers.
