Titans Plan To Ride Derrick Henry In 2019
6 years agoTennessee Titans general manager Jon Robinson reiterated that the team plans to ride running back Derrick Henry as their lead back in 2019. In five December games last year, Henry carried the offense, running for 625 yards and eight touchdowns. He finished with 215 attempts, 1,059 yards and 12 touchdowns (4.9 yards per carry) in 2018. The Titans also have Dion Lewis, though, and he ran for 517 yards and a touchdown in his first year in Tennessee. He was also second on the team with 59 receptions. Henry should be the main man on early downs, but Lewis will factor more into the passing game.
