Titans Not Committing To Joshua Dobbs For Week 18
2 years agoTennessee Titans head coach Mike Vrabel is not ready to commit to naming quarterback Joshua Dobbs as the Week 18 starter against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Rookie Malik Willis was benched in favor of Dobbs in Thursday night's game against the Dallas Cowboys. The Titans lost the game, but Dobbs did more than stake his claim as the option that gives the team the best chance to win going into a crucial division battle next weekend. Thursday was Dobbs' first career start, but he's been in the league since 2017 and probably has a better grasp of running an offense than Willis does right now. Neither QB would be anything more than a low-end QB2 option in superflex leagues, but it seems like the 27-year-old Dobbs will get his second straight start next Sunday against the Jags.
