6 years agoSan Jose Sharks right wing Timo Meier scored his third goal of the season on Sunday, putting the team up 2-1 before New Jersey made a third-period comeback and ended up winning 3-2. The Sharks have struggled at the start of the season, but Meier's been good, as he's failed to pick up at least a point just once in last five outings. He's registered three goals and four points for the whole year with 13 shots on goal and a plus-three rating. The youngster has formed an effective unit on the second line with Tomas Hertl and Logan Couture, who both picked up assists on Sunday.
