Tim Tebow Released By The Jaguars
3 years agoThe Jacksonville Jaguars released tight end Tim Tebow on Tuesday. The 34-year-old former QB signed with Jacksonville during the offseason to reinvent himself as a tight end. He was reunited with former old head coach at the University of Florida and the Jaguars head coach Urban Meyer. Tebow's experiment at the tight end did not work, and he was ultimately released. "Thankful for the highs and even the lows, the opportunities, and the setbacks," said Tebow. "I've never wanted to make decisions out of fear of failure and I'm grateful for the chance to have pursued a dream." The former Heisman Trophy winner most likely won't receive another chance to play in NFL. Tebow's career in professional sports could be over, but it remains to seen if another NFL franchise will give him a chance.
