Tim Stutzle Scores Game-Winning Goal In Global Series Victory
1 year agoOttawa Senators center/left wing Tim Stutzle scored the game-winning goal and added two assists in Thursday's 5-4 overtime victory against the Red Wings in Stockholm, Sweden. Stutzle displayed excellent hand-eye coordination to score with two seconds remaining in overtime, giving the Senators a victory to begin their trip to Europe for the 2023 NHL Global Series. The Senators will play one more game in Sweden and they will have a favorable matchup against the struggling Minnesota Wild on Saturday. Stutzle has totaled four goals and a team-high 20 points through 14 games, while the 21-year-old will go for a third consecutive multi-point game in the upcoming contest.
