Tim Stutzle Leads Senators To Victory
4 years agoOttawa Senators left wing Tim Stutzle led the charge in Thursday's 3-2 shocking win over Montreal, netting his fourth goal of the season and handing out two assists. At 19 years and 20 days old, the German sensation became the second-youngest player in franchise history to record a three-point outing. Thomas Chabot had a power-play goal and an assist and Connor Brown also scored for the Senators, who ended a nine-game losing streak. Stutzle's fantasy stock keeps rising with every game, and he'll head into Saturday's rematch with Montreal on a three-game point streak. He remains available in most fantasy leagues.

Thomas Chabot, Brady Tkachuk, Tim Stutzle Return To Practice
5 months agoOttawa Senators defenseman Thomas Chabot (undisclosed) and forwards Brady Tkachuk (upper body) and Tim Stutzle (upper body) returned to practice earlier this week and could play in one of the final preseason games this weekend, according to Claire Hanna of TSN Sports. Hanna noted that head coach Travis Green said he is not "overly concerned" with their status. This is an excellent sign as all three skaters are on track to be ready for the season opener on Thursday when they host the Stanley Cup Champion, Florida Panthers. Both Tkachuk and Stutzle are slated to play on the top line alongside Claude Giroux, while Chabot will play on the second pair with Nick Jensen to open the season.

Tim Stutzle Ready To Go For New Season
6 months agoOttawa Senators forward Tim Stutzle (shoulder) has declared himself fully healthy ahead of the new NHL campaign. Stutzle missed the final seven regular-season games in 2023-24 with a shoulder injury. However, after receiving treatment "every day for the last three months," the 22-year-old rising star is ready to go for the start of 2024-25. Stutzle had a down year last season but still put up a respectable 70 points (18 goals, 52 assists) across 75 games. He was reportedly troubled by his shoulder throughout the campaign and had a wrist injury early on, so Stutzle could be ready for a big bounce-back year now that he's back at 100 percent.
