Tim Locastro Diagnosed With Torn ACL
3 years agoNew York Yankees outfielder Tim Locastro underwent an MRI on Saturday, which revealed a torn right ACL. He exited Saturday's game early after banging his knee on the outfield wall while trying to catch a foul ball in the second inning. The 29-year-old will miss the rest of the season. Locastro slashed .180/.263/.252 with two home runs, seven RBI, 15 runs scored, and five stolen bases across 64 games for the Diamondbacks/Yankees. There's a decent chance he won't be ready by Spring Training of 2022. Fantasy managers can drop Locastro in all league formats. Tyler Wade would see an uptick in playing time until Aaron Judge is reinstated from the COVID-19 list.
