Tim Jernigan Out 4-6 Weeks For Eagles Defense
5 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles defensive tackle Tim Jernigan (foot) suffered a broken foot in the Week 2 loss to the Falcons and is expected to miss four to six weeks. The good news is that Jernigan won't need surgery, so he should be back later this season. Philly has good depth up front on the defensive line, but they may be a little more vulnerable to opposing ground games moving forward, especially with Malik Jackson also done for the season. The Eagles will take on Kerryon Johnson and the Lions at home in Week 3.
