Tim Hardaway Jr. Scores 24 Points Versus Portland
6 years agoDallas Mavericks guard/forward Tim Hardaway Jr. was the team's most effective player on the court in Sunday's win over Portland, finishing with a plus-17 rating and scoring 24 points in 32 minutes. He shot only 2-for-7 from downtown but managed a solid 9-for-18 overall from the field. His stat line also included four rebounds and three assists. Hardaway Jr. combined only 24 points in his first two games as a Maverick, but he found his flow on Sunday. He gets a quick chance to keep his hand hot as the Mavs will be back in action on Monday, visiting Houston. Hardaway Jr. had 21 points in 35 minutes against the Rockets on Jan. 23 in one of his final games for the Knicks.
