Tim Hardaway Jr. Drops 19 Points In Defeat
6 years agoNew York Knicks shooting guard Tim Hardaway Jr. went for 19 points on 8-for-18 shooting during Sunday’s loss to the Indiana Pacers. Hardaway has continued to get his looks in December, but has seen his points per game average drop as the likes of Emmanuel Mudiay and Kevin Knox have encroached on his scoring dominance for the club. After going for 26 PPG in eight October contests, Hardaway is at 17.8 through the same amount of games in December. He squares off with Phoenix on Monday, one of the three teams in the league he is averaging fewer than 10 PPG against in his career.

Tim Hardaway Jr. Will Not Play Against The Warriors
2 months agoDetroit Pistons guard/forward Tim Hardaway Jr. (back) will not play in Thursday's contest against Golden State. He was a late addition to the injury report due to a back issue, and the injury will keep the veteran sniper sidelined on Thursday. Ausar Thompson (illness) will take over Hardaway Jr.'s spot in the starting unit. Thompson has been battling an illness lately, missing two games, and might not be at his best on Thursday.

Tim Hardaway Jr. Getting Back In Action
4 months agoDetroit Pistons guard Tim Hardaway Jr. (head) is available ahead of Monday's game against the Chicago Bulls. The veteran guard will make his return to the court after missing each of the last three games due to a head laceration. Malik Beasley has been seeing an increase in playing time with Hardaway sidelined. Beasley has scored 20 points or more in each of the last four games, so he should still remain a key piece of the rotation. Hardaway hasn't done enough on the court to warrant rostering in most fantasy formats but he might have some deep league appeal.

Tim Hardaway Jr. Expected To Return Monday Against Bulls
4 months agoDetroit Pistons guard/forward Tim Hardaway Jr. (head) is listed as probable for the team's Monday night game against the Chicago Bulls. The veteran shooter hasn't played since November 12 when he was hit in the head and suffered a laceration. He seems primed to take back his starting role on the team without any restrictions. This likely means that Malik Beasley will head back to the bench, but he still has received around 28 minutes per contest, so both could be viable in deeper leagues.

Tim Hardaway Jr. Draws A Doubtful Status
4 months agoDetroit Pistons guard Tim Hardaway Jr. (head) is expected to miss his second game in a row after suffering a head laceration against the Miami Heat. There's a slight chance he could play, but doubtful tags are rarely upgraded to available. Jaden Ivey (toe) could also be out since he's listed as questionable, so that leaves the Pistons with a thinner backcourt. Ron Holland II would join the starting five again, if that's the case, and Marcus Sasser would see some extra minutes off of the bench.
