Tim Elliott Ends Skid With Co-Main Event Victory
4 years agoTim Elliott ended his three-fight skid, defeating Ryan Benoit by unanimous decision Wednesday night in the co-main event. Elliot scored 76.5 points at DraftKings along with landing 67 significant strikes. The wrestling game wasn't working for him, though, only landing one of his 13 attempted takedowns. Hopefully this has reignited the flame inside one of the division's most seasoned veterans. The Kansas City native was pretty consistent throughout the whole contest, landing 22 strikes in the first round, 23 in the second round and 22 in the third round. Elliott is still a fighter to keep your eye on, depending on his opponent. He's not normally an everyday starter for you if you see him on the fight card.
