1 year agoNew York Jets quarterback Tim Boyle was elevated from the practice squad to the active roster ahead of Sunday's showdown with the Dallas Cowboys. With Aaron Rodgers (Achilles) sidelined, the Jets needed someone to back up Zach Wilson, who is expected to remain under center. But Boyle hasn't seen much action since entering the league in 2018, appearing in 17 games and throwing three touchdowns and eight picks off 62.3% passing. It seems New York won't sign a veteran free agent, at least at the moment. However, Boyle hasn't proven he can be trusted, so that may change if Wilson gets injured moving ahead.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
