Tim Beckham Sitting Out Tuesday
6 years agoAfter suffering a hamstring injury on Sunday, Seattle Mariners shortstop Tim Beckham sat out Monday's game and will sit out Tuesday as his club takes on the Kansas City Royals. The 29-year-old was originally scheduled to play Monday after being diagnosed with a tight right hamstring, but he sat out and will do so once again. Dylan Moore will once again play short and bat eighth in Beckham's place. Beckham has been at the forefront of Seattle's surprising 10-2 start, hitting .400 with four home runs and 11 RBI in 11 games. The Mariners currently sit atop the American League West division.
