Tim Anderson Suspended For Two Games
3 years agoChicago White Sox shortstop Tim Anderson will be suspended for the first two games of the 2022 season. The suspension is a result of an altercation that happened late last season. In a September 27 game against the Detroit Tigers, benches were cleared and Anderson wound up making contact with an umpire. He was suspended three games at the time and he is serving the end of the suspension to kick off the 2022 campaign. The 28-year-old missed some time due to injury last year, but was a great all-around fantasy asset when on the field. Over 123 games in 2021, he slashed .309/.338/.469 with 17 home runs, 18 stolen bases, 61 RBI and 94 runs.
