Tim Anderson Runs The Bases Tuesday
2 years agoChicago White Sox shortstop Tim Anderson (knee) ran the bases Monday and Tuesday and is on track to begin a rehab assignment soon. The two-time All-Star has been on the injured list since early April after he sprained his knee during a play on defense. Before Anderson was sidelined, he was slashing .298/.327/.404 with nine runs, four RBI, five steals, and no homers. Fantasy managers will still have to wait a couple of weeks for his return, as he'll look to get 10 to 14 at-bats in the minors, according to manager Pedro Grifol. But when Anderson's back, he'll once again be a top batting average contributor with a ton of run and stolen base potential.
