3 years agoThe Chicago White Sox placed shortstop Tim Anderson (hamstring) on the 10-day injured list due to a strained left hamstring on Wednesday. The move is retroactive to August 29. The hamstring injury has been lingering for a while for Anderson. However, he's coming off a strong month of August in which he slashed .315/.323/.543 with five home runs, 16 RBI and 18 runs. Anderson sat out the team's last two games as Leury Garcia took over at shortstop. Garcia should continue to serve as the team's primary shortstop while Anderson is out.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
