Tiger Woods Takes Aim At Fourth U.S. Open Title
6 years agoTiger Woods will attempt to win the U.S. Open for the fourth time in his career this week. Woods has shown some encouraging signs in his last two outings at the Players Championship and the Memorial, where he finished 11th and 23rd. The 14-time major champion has once again shown the ability to make birdies in bunches and has looked especially dialed in with his irons. Despite his improved play, Woods has had trouble finishing off rounds and has surprisingly struggled with his putter in his last two starts. Tiger last won the U.S. Open in 2008 and will need all facets of his game firing if he hopes to win at Shinnecock Hills this week. He faces a very difficult golf course and a field of competitors loaded with talent. The 42-year-old living legend will be a fan favorite and popular DFS play.
