Tiger Woods Makes Open Cut At Even Par
6 years agoTiger Woods shot an even-par 71 for the second consecutive day at Carnoustie. Woods battled some of the toughest weather conditions we have seen this week to log four birdies and four bogeys. His 36-hole score of even-par was well within the four-over par cut line. The three-time Open champion will need to make up lots of ground over the weekend, as he trails Zach Johnson and Kevin Kisner by six shots. Woods has played conservatively at Carnoustie this week, electing to hit irons off the tee on most holes. This marks Woods' second made cut in a 2018 major championship. He finished tied for 32nd at the Masters, but failed to make the weekend at Shinnecock Hills.
