Tiger Woods Falls Short at Quicken Loans National
6 years agoTiger Woods shot a final-round 66 Sunday to finish in a tie for fourth place at the Quicken Loans National. The four-under par final round put Woods at 11-under par for the tournament, a whopping 10 shots back of the winner Francesco Molinari. While it was another solid finish for Woods, we saw more of the same inconsistency that has become the norm for him this season. He carded a phenomenal 12 birdies over the weekend at TPC Potomac, but shot himself in the foot with six bogies over his final 36-holes. As in previous 2018 tournament appearances, Woods showed the ability to score, but was unable to finish off rounds. The 14-time major champion has proven himself to be a valuable DFS asset and will next play in The Open Championship later this month.
