Thorbjorn Oleson Looking To Wrangle In Ball-Striking At John Deere Classic
5 months agoThe week in Detroit was over before it started for Thorbjorn Oleson after carding an opening-round 77 (plus-five). His ball-striking let him down immensely over the two rounds, losing over 10 shots between iron and driver play. That won't get it done on any level of professional golf, let alone the PGA Tour. It is unlikely things will be that bad again at TPC Deere Run, but even with much-improved ball-striking, the likelihood of taking things low enough to be in contention seems unlikely. At $9,600 on FanDuel, there are better options around him.
