6 years agoDetroit Pistons forward/center Thon Maker made another start on Wednesday with Blake Griffin (knee) remaining on the sidelines, but he still couldn't leave his mark on the series, missing all three attempts from deep and shooting just 2-for-9 from the field for four points in 21 minutes. He helped out defensively with two blocks and had three assists, but Maker has failed to take advantage of the opportunity to prove his worth to Milwaukee, who traded him in February. Griffin was at the shootaround on Wednesday and according to reports, he was pushing to play in Game 2, but he was seen wearing a big brace on his injured left knee, so his status for Game 3 is still very much in the air.
