Thomas Pannone Exits With Forearm Injury
21 seconds agoMilwaukee Brewers right-handed pitcher Thomas Pannone (forearm) exited Sunday's spring training contest early with a forearm injury. He is set to undergo further evaluation. Earlier in the offseason, Pannone inked a minor-league deal with Milwaukee in hopes of competing for a job on the 40-man roster. The 30-year-old last appeared in the majors during the 2023 with the Brewers but logged only two 2/3 innings. He spent the first two seasons of his MLB career with the Toronto Blue Jays. He spent the 2024 campaign pitching entirely at Triple-A for the Iowa Cubs and the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders. Across 152 1/3 total frames, the right-hander posted a 3.54 ERA with a 1.29 WHIP. When he is cleared for action, Pannone will compete for a depth role on the pitching staff.
