Thomas Hatch Exits With Hamstring Injury On Thursday
3 years agoThe Toronto Blue Jays recalled pitcher Thomas Hatch (hamstring) prior to Thursday's game against the Tampa Bay Rays. He came on in relief during Thursday's game in the fourth inning, but was forced to leave the game in the fifth due to hamstring discomfort. His final line for the day was one hit, three walks and three earned runs over 1 2/3 innings. The 26-year-old right-hander has spent most of the year at Triple-A, pitching to a 4.04 ERA and a 1.91 WHIP over 64.2 innings. He's made three appearances (two starts) for the Blue Jays this year and he has a 6.75 ERA and a 1.82 WHIP across those three outings.
