Thomas Harley Sits Out Second Consecutive Game
1 day agoDallas Stars defenseman Thomas Harley (rest) will remain out of the lineup on Monday against the Detroit Red Wings. He will be rested for a second consecutive game. Harley has taken on a significant workload in the Stars defense due to Miro Heiskanen's (knee) unavailability and is now receiving much-needed time off before the postseason. Heiskanen has been ruled out for the first game of the playoffs, so Harley must also be ready to eat up major minutes when postseason action starts. The 23-year-old has posted a career-high 50 points (16 goals, 34) in 77 games this season while registering 169 shots and 109 blocks. Esa Lindell (rest) will also remain out on Monday, giving Brendan Smith and Alexander Petrovic a chance to play, with Matt Dumba and Ilya Lyubushkin operating as the top defensive duo.
