Dallas Stars defenseman Thomas Harley tallied two points, including the game-winner during their 4-3 victory over the New Jersey Devils on Tuesday evening. Harley tallied the secondary assist on Roope Hintz's power-play goal in the second frame. In the third, Harley played the hero as he scored the game-winner with just three seconds remaining. In this contest, he also logged two shots on goal and held a plus-zero rating. This outing extended his point streak to four games. Over his previous 10 contests, the 23-year-old has tallied 13 points (four goals, nine helpers), with seven of his points coming on the power play. With Miro Heiskanen (knee) on the injured reserve, Harley has taken over the top role on the power play and performed at an elite level. He remains a must-start option in all leagues and will look to continue this offensive surge on Thursday evening against the Calgary Flames.--Andy Smith - RotoBaller

Dallas Stars defenseman Thomas Harley (rest) will remain out of the lineup on Monday against the Detroit Red Wings. He will be rested for a second consecutive game. Harley has taken on a significant workload in the Stars defense due to Miro Heiskanen's (knee) unavailability and is now receiving much-needed time off before the postseason. Heiskanen has been ruled out for the first game of the playoffs, so Harley must also be ready to eat up major minutes when postseason action starts. The 23-year-old has posted a career-high 50 points (16 goals, 34) in 77 games this season while registering 169 shots and 109 blocks. Esa Lindell (rest) will also remain out on Monday, giving Brendan Smith and Alexander Petrovic a chance to play, with Matt Dumba and Ilya Lyubushkin operating as the top defensive duo.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

According to Elliotte Friedman, Dallas Stars defenseman Thomas Harley is joining Team Canada before their contest against Team USA on Saturday evening. With Cale Makar (illness) missing Friday's practice, the team is allowed to add another defenseman to their roster. In addition, Shea Theodore (arm) has already been ruled out for the remainder of the tournament. However, head coach Jon Cooper noted earlier on Friday that he is "confident" that Makar will be available. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor Makar's status leading up to the game. If he cannot turn the corner in time, then Harley will enter the starting lineup. Harley has been quite productive in replacing Miro Heiskanen (knee) on the top pairing in Dallas. Over his previous five NHL games, Harley has tallied six points with a +3 rating.--Andy Smith - RotoBaller

Dallas Stars defenseman Thomas Harley tallied a goal and an assist during Saturday's victory over the San Jose Sharks. Harley tallied his assist on the power-play to set up Matt Duchene to score his 22nd goal of the season. Later in the third, Harley would find the back of the net during 5-on-5 play on a wrist shot. In this contest, the 23-year-old also logged two blocked shots with a +1 rating. Over his previous five contests, Harley has tallied six points (two goals, four helpers) with a +3 rating. While Miro Heiskanen (knee) has been sidelined, Harley has moved up to the top pairing during even-strength play and the top unit on the power-play. Fantasy managers should expect Harley to continue to see top minutes while Heiskanen is on the injured reserve.--Andy Smith - RotoBaller

Dallas Stars defenseman Thomas Harley (illness) is in danger of missing a second consecutive game on Wednesday versus Toronto. The Stars are battling the flu bug, and head coach Peter DeBoer has said that a number of players are game-time decisions for Wednesday's game. Nils Lundkvist (illness) might also be missing from the Stars defense after exiting Monday's 3-1 win over Washington with flu-like symptoms. Alex Petrovic has been brought up from the minors for added defensive depth. In a corresponding move, Matt Dumba was placed on Injured Reserve, retroactive to Dec. 8--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
