Thomas Bryant Records Double-Double As Reserve
Thomas Bryant remained in the second unit for Saturday’s win over the Brooklyn Nets and was able to log a double-double with 17 points and 10 rebounds across his 25 minutes. Irrespective of his placement in the starting five, Bryant has proven that he is well on his way to returning to form following an injury lay-off that lasted over a month. His DFS price tag has been slow to react to his recent production, which could make him an intriguing option again Monday when he faces the Warriors, who have had significant turnover at the center spot as of late.

Thomas Bryant Staying In Miami
Thomas Bryant agreed to a one-year deal to return to the Miami Heat. Bryant, the 2017 No. 42 overall pick, recently opted out of his $2.8 million player option. However, it doesn't appear he drew much interest on the open market, so he'll remain in Miami for another season. The 26-year-old averaged 5.7 points and 3.7 rebounds in 38 games in 2023-24. Bryant will likely mirror those numbers during the 2024-25 campaign, meaning he won't have much value for fantasy managers.

Thomas Bryant Will Miss Three Games
Thomas Bryant will serve a three-game suspension for his involvement in a melee during Friday's meeting with the New Orleans Pelicans. The 26-year-old has averaged 4.2 points and 3.1 rebounds this season. However, along with his lack of production, he has routinely been held off the floor by head coach Erik Spoelstra. As a result, Bryant's suspension won't have much of an impact on fantasy managers, considering he hasn't done much in any statistical area this season.

Thomas Bryant Ejected Without Logging Any Minutes
Thomas Bryant was ejected from Friday's game against New Orleans without logging any playing time. A foul on Zion Williamson early in the fourth quarter sparked an altercation, and things got very heated between Bryant and Pelicans guard Jose Alvarado. Both players threw punches at each other and will likely receive a suspension following the incident. Bryant has played just seven games since the turn of the year, so Miami shouldn't have any issues coping with his absence. The 26-year-old big man has averaged 4.2 points and 3.1 rebounds in 10.4 minutes in 25 games for the season.

Thomas Bryant Disappears On Friday
Thomas Bryant scored four points in Friday's loss to the Spurs. He added five rebounds and turned the ball over three times. The 26-year-old narrowly missed a double-double in the exhibition with Charlotte on Tuesday night. However, he cooled off in this one. Nevertheless, the 2017 second-round pick should see routine playing time behind Bam Adebayo during the 2023-24 campaign. He may also start at times if Miami needs bigger bodies underneath the rim. As a result, Bryant should play considerably better than he did with the Lakers and Nuggets last season, meaning he's worth adding late in fantasy drafts.
