4 years agoThomas Almeida (22-3) has sustained his three career losses in his last four bouts. The 29-year-old Brazilian is a dangerous finisher, with 21 of his 22 career wins coming by finish, and 17 of those by knockout. By the time Almeida steps back in the Octagon to battle Jonathan Martinez, it will be nearly three years since his last bout (October of 2018.) Almeida has a solid significant-strike rate, averaging 5.66 of them. One-hundred percent of his career significant strikes have come either in the clinch or in the standup game.
