Third-Year Leap For Daniel Jones?
3 years agoNew York Giants quarterback coach Jerry Schuplinski says quarterback Daniel Jones' growth has been "pretty dramatic from this point last year." Jones struggled with learning two offensive systems in his first two seasons, but now gets Year 2 with Jason Garrett as offensive coordinator and a proper offseason. The third-year leap is a commonality in the NFL, with Buffalo's Josh Allen making maybe the most dramatic leap of any quarterback last season. The Giants made a concerted effort to get Jones more weapons to throw to, including Kenny Golladay, but still have issues on the offensive line. Jones could be a last-round flier that may pay off handsomely should the third-year leap be in store for him.
