Vancouver Canucks goaltender Thatcher Demko (lower body) was placed on the injured reserve. Demko was initially deemed week-to-week and will now be sidelined for at least the remainder of their road trip. The 29-year-old missed time earlier in the campaign due to a knee injury and now could be facing his second extended absence. Fantasy managers should expect Kevin Lankinen to see most of the starts going forward, with Arturs Silovs serving as the No. 2 option. Across 17 contests this season, Demko has posted a 6-6-3 record with a 2.87 GAA and a .891 save percentage. Lankinen is a viable target in standard formats as he has posted a strong .923 save percentage with a 1.85 GAA over his previous five outings. He is slated to get the starting nod on Wednesday evening against the Los Angeles Kings.--Andy Smith - RotoBaller
