Thaddeus Young Officially Signs With Phoenix
9 months agoFree-agent forward Thaddeus Young officially agreed to a contract with Phoenix. The 35-year-old was traded to Brooklyn ahead of the deadline but was eventually waived. He has suited up for seven teams throughout his career, most recently averaging 5.0 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 2.2 assists in 23 games with Toronto this season. Although those numbers weren't the best for fantasy purposes, Young was much more productive in his six starts. He'll likely get a few chances to roll with the first five while in Phoenix. However, he's not worth much to fantasy managers at the moment, although there could be streaming opportunities at some point moving ahead. Yet, Young's presence could at least mean fewer minutes for guys like Drew Eubanks, Bol Bol, and Royce O'Neale, three players who already need to scratch and claw for playing time.
