Thad Levine Out Of Mix For Front-Office Job In Boston
1 year agoMinnesota Twins general manager Thad Levine is out of the mix for the Boston Red Sox's position of head of baseball operations. Levine interviewed for the position with Boston last week. He originally joined the Twins in November of 2016. The Red Sox have interviewed at least four external candidate for the job after firing chief baseball officer Chaim Bloom in September. The Boston Globe reported that former Twins reliever Craig Breslow is viewed as the favorite for the position. Boston had also reached out to Twins president of baseball operations Derek Falvey, but he declined to be interviewed.
