1 year agoThe Houston Texans signed free-agent veteran tight end Nick Vannett to an undisclosed deal on Wednesday. Vannett continues to bounce around the league and will now join his sixth organization in eight NFL seasons. Last year in nine games (three starts) for the New Orleans Saints and New York Giants, he caught six of nine targets for 55 yards and no touchdowns. The 30-year-old will remain off the fantasy radar and is mostly known as a blocking tight end. In his seven NFL seasons, Vannett has 90 receptions for 874 yards and six touchdowns in 86 games (38 starts). He'll serve as depth in Houston at the tight end position behind Dalton Schultz, Teagan Quitoriano, Brevin Jordan and Eric Tomlinson.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
