Texans Have Zero Interest In Trading Deshaun Watson
4 years agoHouston Texans general manager Nick Caserio said that the team has "zero" interest in trading quarterback Deshaun Watson, despite the fact that the quarterback formally requested a trade on Thursday. "Organizationally, I just want to reiterate our commitment to Deshaun Watson," Caserio said on Friday. Caserio and new head coach David Culley are saying that Watson remains part of the future of the organization, but only time will tell if that's the case. The futures of Caserio and Culley will likely be tied to whether Watson remains with the organization, but the signal-caller is unhappy and has leverage with a full no-trade clause. Watson is an explosive and athletic dual-threat quarterback and should remain a top-five fantasy quarterback no matter where he is playing in 2021, but his future will be the top offseason storyline to follow.
