Texans Have No Clear No. 1 WR In Training Camp
1 year agoThe Houston Texans have a ton of new faces on offense in 2023, and DJ Bien-Aime of ESPN reports there is no clear No. 1 wide receiver yet through over a week of training camp. The top contenders for the WR1 spot appear to be Robert Woods, Nico Collins, John Metchie III, Noah Brown, Tank Dell, and Xavier Hutchinson, but none have separated themselves from the pack this offseason. The Houston pass-catching group will likely be tricky to navigate, but it's tough to see a significant path to upside for any of them while catching passes from Davis Mills and rookie CJ Stroud. That said, one or two of the Texans' wide receivers will likely beat their preseason average draft position. Collins has the highest ADP at just the WR59 in PPR formats.
