Texans Defense Moving On From Aaron Colvin
5 years agoThe Houston Texans released cornerback Aaron Colvin on Tuesday just a year into his four-year, $34 million contract, according to sources. Colvin will receive his $7.5 million in guarantees for this year. Colvin and the Texans secondary was torched by Drew Brees for 362 passing yards in the Monday night loss. While Houston's defensive line is a strength, their secondary continues to be an area of concern. Luckily for them they'll face a Jaguars team in Week 2 that was forced to go to quarterback Gardner Minshew in wake of Nick Foles' (collarbone) injury. As a result, Houston's D could have top-five fantasy potential in the good matchup this weekend.
