Texans Acquiring Stefon Diggs From Bills
8 months agoThe Buffalo Bills are trading All-Pro wide receiver Stefon Diggs, a 2024 sixth-round pick, and a 2025 fifth-round pick to the Houston Texans in exchange for a 2025 second-round pick. Needless to say, this is a shocking and exciting development, and quarterback C.J. Stroud will now have no shortage of weapons to throw to in 2024. However, the fantasy football outlooks of Nico Collins, Tank Dell, and Dalton Schultz are likely to take sizable hits. In Buffalo, Curtis Samuel and Khalil Shakir now move into the temporary WR1 and WR2 roles, but the Bills are surely planning to draft one or two wide receivers in the first three rounds of the 2024 NFL Draft. Diggs has expressed frustration in Buffalo over the last few seasons, but he has remained productive. The 30-year-old has posted at least 1,000 receiving yards in each of the last six seasons, including at least 1,100 yards in his last four campaigns with Buffalo. He keeps his WR1 upside in his new Texans uniform.
