Tevin Coleman Washed Down The Storm Drain
5 years agoSan Francisco 49ers running back Tevin Coleman managed just six yards on five carries in Week 13 against the Baltimore Ravens. He also added a nine-yard catch. The muddy and wet conditions could’ve been deceiving but it’s apparent backup Raheem Mostert completely supplanted Coleman midway through the game. Mostert collected 146 rushing yards, dominating backfield snaps while Coleman received zero action. It’s unclear if he suffered an injury but no reports have surfaced. It’s a major burn from Coleman in a critical fantasy week but game flow possibly resulted in Mostert’s breakout game. After his sixth consecutive lackluster game, Coleman should be downgraded to an RB3 in Week 14 against the New Orleans Saints.
