4 years agoSan Francisco 49ers running back Tevin Coleman was thrust into a featured role on the offense after an injury to Raheem Mostert (knee). Unfortunately, Coleman wasn't able to do much of anything with it. Coleman had 14 carries in Week 12 against the New York Jets and managed to gain just 12 yards. He added two catches for 28 yards on two targets, but the fact he was only able to compile 40 yards on 16 touches is certainly discouraging. We don't know much about the severity of Mostert's injury right now, but if he's expected to miss time, Coleman and Jerick McKinnon would both become waiver wire targets.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
