Tevin Coleman Plays Second Fiddle In Week 14
6 years agoAtlanta Falcons running back Tevin Coleman ended up playing second fiddle to Ito Smith in Week 14 against the Green Bay Packers. Coleman had 10 carries and 11 total touches compared to Smith's 11 and 14, respectively. Coleman was reasonably effective running the ball with 45 yards on his 10 carries. However, on his only reception he lost four yards and he once against failed to find the end zone in another game this season. Given that the Falcons are looking ahead it makes sense to assume they are going to give Smith at least an even amount of touches in the backfield, and that makes Coleman an incredibly tough fantasy option to trust down the stretch.
