6 years agoHouston Texans rookie running back Terry Swanson had just four carries this preseason coming into Thursday's preseason finale, but the former Toledo Rocket took the lead in Houston's backfield against Dallas, carrying the ball 17 times for 69 yards and a touchdown. He added one catch for two yards as well. Swanson seeing extended action while running back Troymaine Pope was held to just four carries suggests that the Texans see value in Swanson, though it's unlikely he makes the team. Swanson could end up on the team's practice squad and holds some value as a deep stash in dynasty leagues, but don't expect anything productive from Swanson during his rookie season.--Justin Carter - RotoBaller
