Terry Rozier Unlikely To Suit Up For Monday’s Game
2 years agoCharlotte Hornets shooting guard Terry Rozier (hip) has been deemed doubtful to play in Monday's contest against the Kings due a right hip contusion. Rozier is coming off a strong nine-game stretch in which he averaged 21.8 field-goal attempts per contest, drawing a massive usage rate at the heart of the Charlotte offense; his absence in the backcourt figures to open up playing time for Bryce McGowens and Theo Maledon, while elevating the DFS stocks of LaMelo Ball, Gordon Hayward and Kelly Oubre Jr. Even as he has seen his overall field-goal percentage dip to 39.6 percent, Rozier is on pace for a new career high in scoring (20.9 points) and dimes (5.5 assists) per contest this year.
