Charlotte Hornets guard Terry Rozier (ankle) has been officially ruled out for Monday's game against the Miami Heat. Rozier suffered a mild ankle sprain last game on Saturday and did not look like he would be able to play, but was listed as questionable. LaMelo Ball will get the start in the absence of Rozier and should be a popular play in DFS. Ball is coming off a career-high 27 points to go along with nine assists, five boards, and three steals against Milwaukee throughout 31 minutes.--Dale Johnson

Miami Heat point guard Terry Rozier (ankle) has been downgraded to out for Wednesday's Game 2 against the Cleveland Cavaliers. He injured his left ankle in Monday's practice and was initially considered questionable for the contest. Rozier has not had a role in Miami's regular rotation, so his absence won't make much of a difference. Davion Mitchell has been the first guard off the bench and is likely to shoulder a big load again on Wednesday night. Anthony Chiang of The Miami Herald reports that Rozier sprained his left ankle and will be listed as questionable on the injury report for Wednesday's Game 2 against the Cleveland Cavaliers. This marks a fresh setback for Rozier, who has looked like a shadow of his former self in 2024-25 and fell out of the rotation at the end of the regular season. Miami Heat guard Terry Rozier (illness) will be active on Wednesday against the Los Angeles Clippers. He has shaken off an illness, with the team upgrading Rozier from probable to available. The veteran guard has a tendency to blow hot and cold, and he finished Monday's matchup against the Charlotte Hornets with only four points on 20 percent shooting. Miami Heat guard Terry Rozier (illness) will miss a second straight game while battling a stomach bug that has been circulating in the Heat's locker room. Rozier also missed Wednesday night's loss in Oklahoma City, allowing Davion Mitchell to start alongside Tyler Herro in the backcourt. Mitchell had 14 points, three assists, a steal, and a rebound in his 35 minutes, and he'll likely get plenty of work again on Thursday.
