Coming off an outing where he led the Washington Commanders in every receiving stat, wide receiver Terry McLaurin could have another strong performance this week. In Week 7, the Commanders are taking on the New York Giants. This season, the Giants have allowed the 10th most fantasy points per game to opposing wide receivers. The veteran receiver was already a starter for most rosters, but that stat should make him a lineup lock. Considering the advantageous matchup and McLaurin's role as Washington's lead receiver, he's a solid WR2 in Week 7.--Jack Camenzind - RotoBaller

The Athletic's Ben Standig writes that Washington Commanders wide receiver Terry McLaurin's agent is expected to seek a new deal for the second-team All-Pro pass-catcher this offseason after recording his fifth straight 1,000-yard receiving season in 2024. In 17 regular-season games, McLaurin had 82 receptions on 117 targets for 1,096 yards and a career-high 13 touchdowns as rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels elevated the entire offense. McLaurin added 14 catches on 23 targets for 227 yards and three touchdowns in the team's three playoff games. Going into the 2025 campaign, McLaurin's seventh in the league, he will be much more expensive in fantasy drafts as a WR1 after Daniels' impressive rookie season. In his six years in the NFL, McLaurin has 38 total touchdowns in 97 regular-season games and is averaging 65.8 yards per game.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller

Washington Commanders wide receiver Terry McLaurin caught three of his seven targets for 51 yards and a score during their loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in the NFC Championship. McLaurin's best play of the afternoon came in the second quarter when he scored on a 36-yard catch-and-run. However, during the second half, the top wideout was quiet as Jayden Daniels directed most of the passing attack toward tight end Zach Ertz. His 51 yards and seven targets placed him second among pass-catchers, only behind Ertz in both statistics. McLaurin has found the back of the end zone in each playoff game. During the regular season, McLaurin enjoyed a career season as he found the back end zone 13 times, which set a new franchise record. He also eclipsed the century mark for the fourth straight season. McLaurin should be viewed as a solid WR2 with upside heading into the 2025 campaign with Daniels under center.--Andy Smith - RotoBaller
